General
How much does a valuation cost?
Valuation is free and without obligation — in person at the shop or online from photos.
How do you pay?
Once you accept our offer we pay immediately, in cash or by bank transfer on request.
Do I need to book an appointment?
You can come in without an appointment during opening hours. For larger lots, estates or visits outside opening hours, please call ahead.
What should I bring when selling?
Your ID and proof of address (required by law), plus any receipt, certificate or box belonging to the item.
Do you travel outside Budapest?
Yes. For estates, furniture and larger collections we travel anywhere in Hungary.
Can I buy catalogue items online?
No — the catalogue is for information only, there is no online payment. Enquire about an item and you can view and buy it in person at the gallery.
Selling gold
Why is the price a range?
The final price depends on fineness, condition and quantity. We determine the exact gold content in your presence.
What is the difference between scrap gold and gold jewellery?
Scrap gold is valued as precious metal, by weight. Gold jewellery is wearable and intact, and its craftsmanship can add value.
How often are prices updated?
We update prices regularly according to the market; the time of the last update is shown above every price list.
How long does selling take?
For a few pieces it usually takes 10–15 minutes: testing, weighing, offer and payment.
Photo valuation
How soon will I get a reply?
We usually get back to you within one business day by phone or e-mail.
Do I have to sell after the valuation?
No, the valuation comes with no obligation.
Which photos should I send?
In good light, from several angles: front, back, base, marks and any damage. For paintings include the signature and the back.
Are my uploaded photos safe?
Yes. The photos are not public, only our expert can see them, and they are deleted automatically after the retention period.
Curious what your item is worth?
Send photos or call us — we will advise you free of charge and with no obligation.
